Drajver Dlya Lpt Porta Windows 7
I have seen a number of similar posts on this subject. I have a Lenovo H330 desktop that had a number of serial COM ports. I upgraded to Windows 7 and they all vanished. I had made no changes to BIOS and have checked that there is no BIOS option that I could change that would disable COM ports. I checked that the LPT/COM ports were not hidden. I tried adding COM's ports manual using the device manager, which seemed to work - but the COM ports did not work (CODE 10) as the addresses they wanted to use had already been assigned).
I have tried deleting all USB entries - which was one of the suggestions made to one other Windows user who had reported this problem. Does anyone have any ideas on: (a) why the LPT/COM ports vanished after the Windows upgrade and (b) what I can do to get my COM ports working again?
Mar 13, 2013 - This did solve the no drivers for SM Bus issue, but i still don't have any. Windows Server 2008 *, Windows 2000 *, Windows 7 *, Windows 7. Now I do have a new computer with windows 7 OS.The problem is that when I try to install the drivers for the parallel port PORT95NT, says that.
I need the COM ports so I can use an old Elite flight simulator product, which scans for COM ports when it loads. Best regards Chris.
Hi Chris, Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. I can imagine the inconvenience you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to fix the issue. • Are all the device drivers and Windows updates are updated? A Code 10 error is generated in Device Manager in one of the following situations: • Device Manager can't start the device. • One of the drivers that the device needs does not start.
• Device Manager has insufficient information to recognize the error that is bubbled up by the device driver. Note: In this situation, the Code 10 error can be a very generic message that indicates some kind of unspecified driver or device problem. As you have mentioned that you are getting an error code 10 while adding COM's port manually then I would suggest you to try the steps provided in the article mentioned below and see if it helps you to fix the issue.
If issue persists try to i nstall the latest drivers for your motherboard. See if this proves to be of any help. Device manufacturers often release updates to their drivers to enhance performance or fix compatibility issues. To get the latest driver, visit the support section of your motherboard manufacturer’s website.
Hope this would help. If issue still persists post back with current status of your computer and result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to assist you. Regards, Ramesh Kumar.
On a 32 bit system everything is where you expect. But on a 64bit system; System32 is reserved for 64bit libs and apps (seriously!) WOW64 is for 32bit equivalents (yes, I know) So if you're on 64bit windows (win7 comes in 32bit or 64bit) you need to put 32bit dlls into the wow64 directory instead of System32. If your win7 is 32bit flavour the dll should go into System32:-/ Hope that helps Jon -- Jonathan Peirce Nottingham Visual Neuroscience This message and any attachment are intended solely for the addressee and may contain confidential information.
