Hitman Pro Trial Reset
Hello, I have a license for Hitman Pro Alert, wondering if there is a way to transfer that to a new Windows PC. I can't find anything on their website about it. Actually, I can't find any way to contact support at all for this program. Does anyone know if the license can be transferred or how to contact the company? (As much as I like their product, if the current situation of not being able to contact support continues, I may not continue with them when the license does expire.)Have a look here. Hitman Pro is a second opinion scanner, designed to rescue your computer from nasty viruses, spyware, trojans, rootkits, and other threats, that have infected your computer despite all the security measures you have taken (such as anti virus software, firewalls, etc.).
I have emailed them a few times; my work laptop's HitmanPro Alert 'loses' the activation a few times a year; they answer emails pretty quick; they would reset my activations. One thing I've noticed: within HitmanPro's license mini-board, the license never appears in the box, it looks like that item is no longer a license version - but it is; Before I caught on, I would reactivate, check mini-board, reactivate, check mini-board -- finally realized the license number is not visible. I almost forgot, I think you can 'move' [I agree with you, not 'copy'] the license from one computer to another -- just email Surfright to reset the activation count for the new computer.
Good to know. I didn't really do much research into it. I'll just throw this thing in with my other on-demand scanners then. This looks like an ideal 2'nd opinion scanner.
So light since it's pure cloud & not sig. Based, and with those 4 vendors that's one extensive library of malware.
I hope that you keep it the way it is, a dedicated on-demand scanner, and not bloat it down. It is great at what it does. I'm not quite as generous as the other people who say 'just buy it', but if it ever does find a threat and the clock starts ticking a a result, I would certainly pay for this. Customer programming software cps software for mac. It still may not be a bad idea to include an advanced install though. For people who tend to lose their apps and like to choose where to install them. Then this thing = perfect. Okay, am I the only idiot that misread the instructions?
I removed the.lic file, reopened Hitman Pro, went to license and clicked the free license button. Now it says I have 30 days free license through 8/19.
So, did I just screw up? I don't have any malware presently and don't need the free 30 day period to begin today. Sorry for the confusion. (I am a long time user, way before the cut-off date from June.) Thanks for any help with restoring the free license so I can use it when 'needed.' EDITED TO ADD: I just went back in and removed the license file again and it seems that the program is now back to 'not activated'. Hopefully this resolves whatever issues my earlier confusion may have caused.
